One last destination before going back to Halong City. Our tour guide tells us we can go on the tender boat to visit a fishing village where we can take a short boat trip, but little did we know...
After we loaded onto the small boats for a quick cave tour, this man came around telling us it will cost 100000 dong per person to go on this boat ride. Obviously, 5 CAD a person isn't all that bad, but with no forewarning to this before loading onto the tender and riding out to the village, on principle alone, we refused to pay for this and demanded for our tour guide to bring us back to the cruise boat immediately. Out of 20 tourists that came to the fishing village, only 4 ended up paying for the boat ride. The rest of us went back to the cruise ship.

Back in Hanoi, we visited the International Family Medical Practice, where we got further medical advice for Jackie's
zombie monkey bite. We then decided to have one last bowl of pho on our last night in Vietnam

| While in Ho Chi Minh City, we were recommended to stick to Mai Linh and Vinasun taxis. Having only Mai Linh's in Hanoi, we went with what we knew, but every time we got into a Mai Linh taxi, the driver would always take us on the scenic route. Sick of the BS, we decided to go with Hanoi Taxis, which have by far more trustworthy drivers. |

| Feeling pretty shaggy after 5 weeks, I hit the barber shop. 60000 dong later, I came out looking pristine |
