Day 27 Part 2: Life decision at the post office and a farewell barbecue

Having had a suit tailored in Hoi An and Jackie with her wool coat, we decided to post our purchases home, along with whatever else dead weight we got in Vietnam to streamline our travels. So after our half day at pagoda, we grabbed a quick lunch and off to the post office it was

Healthy wholesome lunch

At the post office, we were confronted with a decision: send our package via air or land (sea, actually). Air would take a breezy 2 weeks, but ran the high cost of 1.8 million dong, while sending via ship would only run 500 k dong, with the catch of not being able to see our awesome tailored goodies for at least 3 months, and potentially even 4 or 5.
After many excruciating minutes of going over pros and cons, and changing our minds 4 times, the final decision was for the cheap route. All I have to say is: suit... bon voyage, and may our future meeting be one filled with joy and laughter.
I don't really have any photos documenting this excursion, so here's a man sleeping on a motorbike just around the corner from Peace House 3

Back home, our gracious friends Annie and Tran were preparing our farewell barbecue. Let the feast of a thousand hams begin!
