My Son, literally translated to beautiful mountain is the site of Champa ruins built between the 4th and 14th century. During the American War, US carpet bombing destroyed a large majority of the buildings in the site. We took an early bird tour to My Son today, leaving our hotel at 5am, arriving at My Son 2 hours later. Here are the photos from our excursion.

| Ain't nothin like desecrating a people's ancient ruins. All in a day's work. |
Being on the early bird tour, our group was relatively small. We had approx. 20 people on our tour. As we finished up, and started to board our bus to head back to Hoi An, the regular tours began to arrive...
Apparently, not sick of boat rides yet, we opted for the lazy Sunday cruise back to Hoi An. On the way back, we stopped on an island famous for its carpentry.
